We are proud to launch today a new language map. It displays all the languages which have been studied in our department CNRS–LACITO since its creation in 1976; as well as all the languages that are featured in our online archive of language recordings, the Pangloss Collection.
But the main tool we are launching today is an interactive map, that links each language to online resources — especially audio recordings with their transcriptions and translations. It can be used as a gateway to LACITO’s website, or even more importantly, a door to our Pangloss archive of language recordings.
Clicking on this picture will bring you to another page where the interactive map is presented and explained.
If you just can’t wait, here is a direct link to the map itself, in full screen.
Enjoy your travels!
